For my comic project The Elementals, I wanted to show a big and dramatic scene. In my cover design, the villain Doomstorm comes from the sky with dark clouds and lightning, looking very powerful and dangerous. The four heroes who control fire, earth, air, and water stand together at the bottom, ready to fight him. The title “The Elementals” is in the middle, linking the top and bottom parts of the image.
This layout was inspired by many classic comic book covers from Marvel and DC Comics. One of my main inspirations was Secret Wars #10 (1984), where Doctor Doom is shown as a giant, very powerful character above the heroes. This helped me understand how to make a villain look strong and larger than life. I used a similar idea for Doomstorm, showing him high in the sky with bright lightning around him.

I will use the similar pose of Doctor Doom in the cover.

I also looked at Batman #423, which uses dark shadows and dramatic posing to create a serious feeling. I liked how Batman’s cape flows and how his pose tells a story. In my cover, I used a similar idea with Doomstorm’s body his curved spikes, strong pose, and shadows make him look more scary and powerful.

I also checked other comic covers, like Avengers and older Batman issues, to see how artists show emotion, action, and balance between text and characters. These examples helped me design my own cover for The Elementals in a classic comic style but with my own characters and story.

By studying these covers, I learned how artists use composition, contrast, and size to show emotion and power. My goal was to make my cover feel like a real comic book cover but still show my personal ideas and story world.
The title "The Elementals" is in the middle, so it connects the top and bottom parts of the image.
Another strong reference was Crisis on Infinite Earths #7 (1985). In this cover, Superman holds Supergirl in a very emotional and dramatic way, while the background shows chaos and destruction. This helped me understand how to show emotion, danger, and energy all in one scene. I used this idea in my own cover by adding lightning and storm effects around Doomstorm to make the scene feel more intense.

I was also inspired by X-Men #1 (1991) by Jim Lee. The cover shows Magneto above the X-Men team, which helped me understand how to show power, teamwork, and action in one image. I used kind
